Ten Tips for Visiting Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park

Check out these suggestions and tips from the site's park rangers. See tips from other rangers around the country to plan your next park visit like a park ranger.

Start your visit to Ste. Genevieve in the Welcome Center, located at 66 S. Main Street. Here you can get a map, watch a short film, visit the restroom, and learn a bit about the town history before you start exploring.

Explore more of historic Ste. Genevieve by taking a self-guided walk around the town or by visiting the Memorial Cemetery. See the more natural side of Ste. Genevieve by walking the levee trail near the Mississippi River.

See inside one of the National Park Service managed historic houses by attending a guided tour. Tours are offered daily, dependent on staffing and weather, and require a free ticket, that you can get at the Welcome Center. See our calendar for upcoming tour times.
