Plant Game

There are almost 500 different plant species in Arches National Park. To live here, they have to survive temperatures ranging from 116 degrees Fahrenheit (47 degrees Celsius) to -1 degree Fahrenheit (-18 degrees Celsius) and only four to thirteen inches (ten to thirty-three centimeters) of precipitation (rain and snow) a year.

Many plants in Arches National Park have special adaptations to survive here. Let’s look at some of these.
