Living History at Appomattox

Abe Reynolds was a freed black man
Abram Reynolds was a free man that lived near the village. He was the husband of Hannah who was the only civilian casualty during the Battle of Appomattox Court House.
Park staff and volunteers provide first-and third-person historic character programs most days from June to September. Programs last about 35 minutes. Inquire at the visitor center for the program schedule.
