The 15^th annual Spirits of the Staple Bend Tunnel tours are Saturday, October 28, 2023. These free tours are family friendly. Reservations are required due to limited space on the bus. Please call 814-886-6150 to sign up!

Tour times are 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm. A short bus ride takes participants to the tunnel where they will visit different stations and meet historic characters from the days of the Allegheny Portage Railroad. The tour takes participants through the Staple Bend Tunnel, which is 901 feet long. 

The tour requires about a half mile of walking. Each tour is approximately 50 minutes in length. Luminaries will help light the way through the first railroad tunnel in America!
