Join us for our Living History Day on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM. This all day, family-friendly, living history event has lots to offer people of all ages! The demonstrations will include stone cutting, rope making, natural dyes, weaving, and more! Visitors will learn what it was like to work on the Allegheny Portage Railroad and activities that women were participating in during the 19th century.
The 2nd Pennsylvania, Company B-American Highlanders from the Mexican War (1846-1848) will tell their stories and perform black powder demonstrations at designated points throughout the day at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
