Park Loop Road and Cadillac Summit Road to Open

The Park Loop Road and Cadillac Mountain Road will open tomorrow April 15.

The road into Echo Lake Beach will remain closed until May 1. Construction crews are working in there to create a safe location for buses to pick-up and drop-off passengers and to turn around. Work has been hampered by the recent wet weather. To maintain visitor safety, to protect wetlands in the vicinity of the construction, and to reduce the potential for increased erosion from vehicular traffic the road will remain closed for an additional two weeks while construction continues.
