"I was commissioned to work with the high school art classes at Sumner High School to create a mural for the Door Science Building at Schoodic. This was a collaborative project using students ideas and visions to reflect their surroundings and environment. I created this mural with local high school students for the National Park science building at the Schoodic Educational Center. "

"I spent many hours hiking and sketching and everywhere that I ran into a living soul, I was told never pick up a rock. In my work it is very important to get a feel of texture and recognize color and shadows. This is where my inspiration came from to create this piece."
