HODGENVILLE Ky – Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park will host local band One Lane Bridge on Friday, August 11, 2023 for a “Bluegrass Traditions” concert at the Knob Creek Tavern at 6:00 p.m. (EST)

The band will play for one hour and the concert is free and open to the public. Concert goers are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on as well as bug spray.

One Lane Bridge, known as the park’s “house band” played at the Knob Creek Tavern last year during the park’s “Open Doors” event to celebrate the restored Knob Creek Tavern Visitor Center being reopened to the public for one year. The Tavern itself has a rich musical history as it was popular stop on tours for many recording artists including Bluegrass musicians who played there in the 1930s through the 1950s.

For more information about the event, visit the park’s Facebook page at https:www.facebook.com/LincolnBirthplaceNPS or visit the park’s website at www.nps.gov/abli. Any delay or cancellation of the event will be posted on our Facebook page.
