Contact: Natalie Barber, 270-358-3137 It's well documented that from Abraham Lincoln's earliest childhood days in Kentucky, he held a lifelong fondness for all sorts of animals. On Saturday, May 20th, the park will celebrate little Abraham's love of the animal kingdom by hosting Kentucky Down Under. At 1:00 p.m. EDT, Kentucky Down Under will bring animals, including a baby kangaroo, for kids (and kids at heart) to learn about and interact with! This event is free and open to the public. For more information on the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park, visit the park's website at: https://www.nps.gov/abli or the park's Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/LincolnBirthplaceNPS. |
