On Saturday evening, February 15, 2014, Dr. David Slay will present a program on the Third U.S. Colored Cavalry and the battle of Yazoo City, which took place on March 5, 1864.

The program will be held at 7:00 pm in the Vicksburg National Military Park Visitor Center auditorium, and will last approximately one hour, followed by a question and answer period. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. This event is open to the public and is free of charge.
