BUSINESS PERMITS AND COMMERCIAL USE AUTHORIZATIONS

Permits may be required if you plan certain activities in national parks, including:
- filming
- weddings and other ceremonies
- group-organized bike rides
- fundraisers
- public assemblies
- demonstrations/First Amendment activities
- scattering ashes
- commercial guide services

Cave formation.

The small gravity-defying cave formations found in Sequoia and Kings Canyon caves are known as helictites. They form due to the capillary action of acidic solutions and are composed of the minerals calcite and aragonite.
