4.1 Prepare 100% Draft Construction Documents Based on the Design Development Documents, recommendations from the Design Stage Value Analysis and NPS review comments, prepare the following:
Templates: Guideline: Guide for Specifiers, December 2010 4.2 Prepare Submittal List Prepare Submittal List and Review Estimate template. Template: Submittal List and Review Estimate (See 3rd tab (lower section of form) for template instructions.) Samples: 4th & 5th tabs of Submittal List and Review Estimate Template 4.3 Prepare Closeout and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Requirements Prepare the Closeout and O&M requirements as identified in individual construction specification sections. Template: Closeout and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Requirements Sample: 2nd tab of Closeout and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Requirements Template 4.4 Finalize Constructability Analysis Finalize the Constructability Analysis utilizing the Constructability Checklist. 4.5 Complete NPS Project Sustainability Checklist (Construction Documents Portion) Working collaboratively within the integrated design team complete the Construction Documents portion of the NPS Project Sustainability Checklist. 4.6 Update Design Stage Value Analysis Report Upate and finalize the Design Stage Value Analysis (DSVA) Report documenting all CD Phase value analysis activities. Template: VA Report 4.7 Prepare Class A Construction Cost Estimate Prepare the Class A Construction Cost Estimate based on the completed 100% Draft Construction Documents using the Class A Construction Cost Estimate Template and Instructions. Confirm that project cost is within available funds. Template:

Identify and format final supplemental design reports to be included in the Construction Specifications. 4.9 Construction Documents Deliverables
4.10 Update Class A Construction Cost Estimate Update Class A Construction Cost Estimate, as directed, when the elapsed time between submission of Final Construction Documents and initiation of Construction Contract Procurement exceeds six months. |
