Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve Currently Recruiting a Community Volunteer Ambassador for 2021

COPPER CENTER, AK – Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve is recruiting a Community Volunteer Ambassador for 2021. The intern will work with park staff at the Main Visitor Center in Copper Center to create an Interpretation and Education volunteer program for the park. This 50-week paid internship is a great professional development opportunity to build skills in National Park Service interpretation, visitor services, education program management, and volunteer program development. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-30; have at least two years of college education; be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; have a driver’s license; and have an interest in learning about national parks and Wrangell-St. Elias natural and cultural history.
