Amplification

Rangers often use portable voice amplifiers when speaking during our daily programs. If you have any issues hearing the ranger, please do not hesitate to ask them to speak louder or adjust the volume of their amplifier.

ASL Interpretation

If you need an ASL interpreter for a park ranger program, please email or call (252) 475-9406 the park at least 2 weeks in advance of your visit. For a list of current ranger programs, please check out our calendar of events.

Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs)

Audio Tour

On the NPS App there are transcripts for each of the stops on the audio tour.

Exhibits

None of the videos within the visitor center and museum have sound.
