Women's Rights National Historical Park continues its second annual Winter Film Festival by showing the film National Park Animals for Kids on Friday, November 23, and Saturday, November 24, 2012.

National Park Animals for Kids introduces children of all ages to some of the fascinating animals that inhabit America's national parks. Animated friends Max and Tommy invite viewers to learn more about 150 species of mammals, reptiles, birds, insects, and their diverse habitats. The running time for National Park Animals for Kids is 2 ½ hours.

Women's Rights National Historical Park commemorates and preserves the sites associated with the First Women's Rights Convention, which was held in 1848 in Seneca Falls. "We are proud to be part of the National Park system, and we invite everyone to join us in enjoying this film about many of our natural parks and the animals that call them home," said Superintendent Tammy Duchesne. "The Winter Film Festival is a fun way for kids of all ages to learn about our national parks," added Superintendent Duchesne.

All film showings will occur at 12:00 Noon on Fridays and Saturdays at the Women's Rights National Historical Park Visitor Center, located at 136 Fall Street in Seneca Falls. All film showings will be free of charge. The Winter Film Festival films are intended for a general audience. Visitors are encouraged to call if they are interested in a particular showing as film lengths vary.
