Seneca Falls, NY - This year It's a Wonderful Life will celebrate its 65th anniversary as one of the most beloved Christmas films of all time, and Seneca Falls will celebrate this milestone with its annual It's a Wonderful Life Festival on December 9 - 11. To help mark the occasion, Women's Rights National Historical Park will offer several fun-filled events that It's a Wonderful Life fans of all ages are sure to enjoy. In addition to showing off their artistic skills, park visitors can enjoy a sample of delicious homemade soup. The Friends of the Park will serve chili and fixings from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday as part of the Ma Bailey's Hot and Hearty Cook-off. The park is also pleased to announce that it will show a film depicting women's roles during World War II, the same time period in which It's a Wonderful Life was set. On Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10 at 12 noon the park will show the film Top Secret Rosies: The Female Computers of World War II as part of its first annual Winter Film Festival. This documentary follows the lives of four women who worked on top-secret computer programs for the U.S. military during World War II. It is one hour long and intended for a general audience.
