Seneca Falls, NY - This year It's a Wonderful Life will celebrate its 65th anniversary as one of the most beloved Christmas films of all time, and Seneca Falls will celebrate this milestone with its annual It's a Wonderful Life Festival on December 9 - 11. To help mark the occasion, Women's Rights National Historical Park will offer several fun-filled events that It's a Wonderful Life fans of all ages are sure to enjoy.

On Saturday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, visitors can color the It's a Wonderful Life window mural that will be displayed at the Women's Rights National Historical Park Visitor Center, located at 136 Fall Street in downtown Seneca Falls. Children of all ages can also color scenes from an It's a Wonderful Life coloring book to take home for Christmas decorating.

In addition to showing off their artistic skills, park visitors can enjoy a sample of delicious homemade soup. The Friends of the Park will serve chili and fixings from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday as part of the Ma Bailey's Hot and Hearty Cook-off.

The park is also pleased to announce that it will show a film depicting women's roles during World War II, the same time period in which It's a Wonderful Life was set. On Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10 at 12 noon the park will show the film Top Secret Rosies: The Female Computers of World War II as part of its first annual Winter Film Festival. This documentary follows the lives of four women who worked on top-secret computer programs for the U.S. military during World War II. It is one hour long and intended for a general audience.
