Seneca Falls, NY - Friends and supporters of Women's Rights National Historical Park have a new media outlet to look forward to in 2012. This week Women's Rights National Historical Park released the first issue of its quarterly newsletter. Titled The Center of the Rebellion, it provides visitors with updates about the park's special events as well as a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the daily activities of National Park Service employees. The title, The Center of the Rebellion, was the phrase Stanton sometimes used in letters to refer to her home and its role in the women's rights movement.

"We have wonderful activities and opportunities at our park and are thrilled to share them through our newsletter," said Park Superintendent Tammy Duchesne. "This is a great way for our friends, both old and new, to learn more about us and the exciting things we are doing."

The park's newsletter can be accessed online at https://www.nps.gov/wori/parknews/park-newspaper.htm. Copies of the newsletter can also be picked up at the information desk of the park's Visitor Center, located at 136 Fall Street in downtown Seneca Falls.

To have a copy mailed to you, please call (315) 568-0024. You can also follow the park's social media sites for Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/womensrightsnps) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/#!/WomensRightsNPS) to learn about our upcoming events and programs.
