Seneca Falls – Women’s Rights National Historical Park will observe the 159th anniversary of the first Women’s Rights Convention with a first person portrayal of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. The program will be presented in the Wesleyan Chapel, the site of the convention, on July 19, 2007, at 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Stanton will be portrayed by Eleanor Stearns, an historical actress who has also researched and written portrayals of Clara Barton, Emily Dickinson, and Amelia Earhart. She has presented her Women of Vision programs throughout New York and neighboring states. Stearns is also a member and former president of the Geneva Theatre Guild.
