Seneca Falls, NY – The public is invited to attend a talk and book signing by professor and author Kate Clifford Larson. This event will be held at the M’Clintock House, 14 East Williams Street in Waterloo. The M’Clintock House, a stop on the Underground Railroad, is part of Women’s Rights National Historical Park. The talk will start at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 24th. It will be followed by a question & answer session. Seating is limited, so please come early. Larson is a member of the faculty of Simmons College. She is a renowned scholar on Harriet Tubman and the author of "Bound for the Promised Land; Harriet Tubman, Portrait of an American Hero." Immediately following the talk a book signing will take place featuring "Bound for the Promised Land; Harriet Tubman, Portrait of an American Hero," which is available in the M’Clintock House bookstore. The talk and book signing will be hosted by Eastern National in cooperation with the National Park Service. Entrance to the Women’s Rights National Historical Park is free of charge.
