War in the Pacific National Historical Park announces that, due to impending Typhoon Dolphin, the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center is closed. The park, restrooms, gates, and all facilities will be closed by5 pm today. All scheduled programs and reservations will be cancelled until it is safe to reopen. The closure may be extended through Saturday and some park areas or facilities may remain closed if needed. The park will resume normal operations when Guam is in COR 4. We apologize for the inconvenience of closures, but they are necessary for visitor and park safety. For more information about the typhoon, visit http://www.prh.noaa.gov/guam/. –NPS – |
