War in the Pacific National Historical Park FestPac Historical Bus Tour 

On Monday, May 30, Memorial Day, in celebration of the 12th Festival of Pacific Arts, War in the Pacific National Historical Park, and non-profit partners Pacific Historic Parks, would like to invite you, to the War in the Pacific Historical Bus Tour. This bus tour will stop at three prominent locations at War in the Pacific National Historical Park: Asan Beach, the T. Stell Newman Visitor Center, and the Asan Bay Overlook and Memorial Wall. 

Bus Tour Information 

The bus tour will leave the pickup point at Sirena Park (Spanish Bridge at the corner of W. Soledad Ave and Aspinall Ave in Hagatna) at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm and will last approximately three hours. The buses will drop-off in the same location. The 10:00 am and 1: 00 pm bus will have French translation available. Advanced sign-up is recommended, and sign-up sheets are located in the Floral Arts Hut located at the elevated huts in front of Paseo De Susana Park (just north of Chamorro Village). Walk-ups are welcome on any bus if space is available. 

There will be 50 spots available for each bus for a maximum 250 people. 

All buses will have Park Rangers on board to speak about the tour stops, answer questions, and talk about War in the Pacific National Historical Park. 

Established by the United States in 1978, the War in the Pacific National Historical Park was created "to commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of those participating in the Pacific Theater of World War II and to conserve and interpret outstanding natural, scenic, and historic values and objects on the island of Guam for the benefit and enjoyment of present and future generations".
