Contact: Theo Chargualaf, 671-477-7278 x1005 National Park Service staff have observed numerous Portuguese Man-of-War, a type of stinging jellyfish, washed ashore at Asan Beach. Contact with this type of jellyfish can cause intense pain and serious injury. Seek immediate medical attention for serious stings. Due to the presence of jellyfish, visitors are advised to stay away from the beach and out of the ocean.
