This summer, War in the Pacific National Historical Park will once again host the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) program and will be accepting applications throughApril 3, 2015.

The Youth Conservation Corps is a well-balanced work-learn-earn program that introduces youths to the importance of caring for our nation's special places. YCC participants will engage in a wide variety of conservation and park operations. Youths will learn about the significance of War in the Pacific National Historical Park and other national parks across the nation.

The park will hire up to five (5) youths in the YCC program at the federal minimum wage. Selected youths will work for eight weeks, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The program will run from June 15, 2015 to August 8, 2015. Enrollees must be at least 15 years of age by June 15, 2015 and no older than 18 years of age on August 8, 2015. To apply, interested applicants must fill out an application. If under 18, applicants must have a parent's or guardian's signature authorizing participation in the program. Program participants will be selected at random. Only those selected will be contacted.
