Walnut Canyon Visitor Center
The Walnut Canyon visitor center has two accessibility lifts. These lifts provide access to the park's museum, film, Western National Park's Association store, indoor, and outdoor observations areas. From the indoor observation area and outdoor back patio, visitors can take in sweeping views of the canyon, and distant views of the cliff dwellings. The visitor center restrooms are accessible, and are located outside the front of the building.
Trail Accessibility
The Rim Trail - is accessible to the first overlook, which is 150 feet down the trail. Beyond that point, it does not fully meet ADA accessibility standards, but may be possible with assistance. The trail is paved and relatively flat.
The Island Trail - is inaccessible due to steep grades and many stair steps.
