The next movie night is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. The film will be shown in the park's theater.This Saturday, watch as Hollywood retells the Custer story with Errol Flynn as George Armstrong Custer and Olivia de Havilland staring as his devoted wife, Elizabeth Bacon Custer. An interesting side note is that this film is the eighth and last time Flynn and de Havilland share the marquee together. Although this film is not an accurate historical account of all that transpired at the Battle of the Little Big Horn, it nevertheless entertains with colorful characters, magnetic stars and rousing action scenes. Critics have called it, "A Glorious Western...absolutely irresistible."
We invite everyone to come out for the movie and follow Custer's story from his days as a cadet at West Point Military Academy, where he earned the dubious honor of being the 'last in his class,' to his death at The Little Big Horn.
