14 March - 25 April 1863 (Steele's Bayou and Greenville Expedition) - A detachment of this unit was attached to Lt. Col. Samuel W. Ferguson's Combat Team, of Maj. Gen. William Wing Loring's Confederate Forces, Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's Department of Mississippi and East Louisiana, and commanded by Lt. R. L. Wood.

15 April - 8 May 1863 (Grierson's Raid) - One section (3 guns) of this battery was attached to Maj. Gen. Franklin Gardner's 3d Military District at Port Hudson, LA, Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's Department of Mississippi and East Louisiana, and commanded by Capt. H. M. Bledsoe.

14 May 1863 (The Battle of Jackson, MS) - Two guns of this battery were attached to Gregg's Brigade, Col. Robert Farquharson commanding, of Brig. Gen. John Gregg's Defense Force, Gen. Joseph E. Johnston's Departments of Tennessee and Mississippi, and commanded by Capt. H. M. Bledsoe.

18 May - 4 July 1863 (The Siege of Vicksburg, MS) - This unit was attached to Brig. John Gregg's Brigade, of Maj. Gen. William H.T. Walker's Division, Gen. Joseph E. Johnston's Army of Relief, Department of the West, and commanded by Capt. H.M. Bledsoe.
