Monument located on Union Avenue 200 yards south of the Iowa Memorial. Company G Marker located on Union Avenue between the railroad bridge and the Iowa Memorial. This unit was headquarters escort for Brig. Gen. Eugene A. Carr's 14th Division of Maj. Gen'ls John A. McClernand (relieved 6/19/63) & Edward O.C. Ord's XIII Army Corps.
