Monument located on Confederate Avenue, 200 yards south of the Missouri Memorial. Also, a multiple iron tablet designating a sortie on 22 May 1863, located on Confederate Avenue in the northeast end of the Anshe Chesed Jewish Cemetery. This unit was attached to Brig. Gen. Martin E. Green's (killed 27 June 1863) and Col. Thomas P. Dockery's 2d Brigade, of Maj. Gen. John S. Bowen's Division, Lt. Gen. John C. Pemberton's Army of Vicksburg, and commanded Lt. Col. D. Todd Samuels and Capt. Felix Lotspeich.
