Commercial Leasing of Park Buildings

The National Park Service at Valley Forge National Historical Park currently has two historic buildings
available for commercial lease –the Kennedy Supplee mansion and the Maurice Stephens house. Parties
interested in either opportunity should carefully review the Request for Proposals (RFP) for more information and deadlines.

Each RFP provides the opportunity for an interested individual or organization to submit a proposal to the National Park Service to lease one of these two properties. Whoever submits the proposal for each property, judged best under the RFP selection criteria, will be given an opportunity to negotiate a final lease agreeable to both the offeror and the National Park Service.

Maurice Stephens
The National Park Service ended negotiations with its prospective lessee of the Maurice Stephens house without an agreement to move forward with a lease.

Kennedy Supplee Mansion 150
Request for Proposals to lease the historic Kennedy Supplee mansion located on State Route 23 for a commercial use approved by the NPS for a term of ten to fifty years. The length of the lease term for the Kennedy Supplee mansion will be dependent upon the level of investment proposed by the offeror. Please click here to learn more about this RFP.

PCK 150
The National Park Service awarded a ten-year lease to Valley Forge Park Events LLC on May 1, 2015.
Please contact Valley Forge Park Events LLC for more information about renting the Philander Chase Knox House.
