Junior Ranger Activity Books

The park has a free Junior Ranger program for all ages.

Most activities are best completed by Junior Ranger candidates when visiting the park. Complete as many activities from the booklet as possible and earn a Junior Ranger badge and certificate.

The site bookstore offers a Junior Ranger patch, available for $2.95, to those children completing the Junior Ranger activities at the site.

Ulysses S. Grant Bicentennial Virtual Junior Ranger

Help commemorate the 200th anniversary of Grant's birth. Complete the bicentennial junior ranger program and learn about Ulysses S. Grant's life and contributions to American history.

Read the biography on all four pages and complete your choice of activities as follows:
  • Ages 5-7: Complete two or more activities.
  • Ages 8+: Complete three or more activities.
