Throughout 2016, the National Park Service (NPS) is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Tumacácori National Historical Park has enthusiastically joined the year-long party, featuring many special events and programs, including the popular Centennial Concert Series. The final concert in the series, featuring a rare visit to Arizona by members of the State of Sonora Philharmonic Orchestra, will take place inside the historic mission church on Saturday, May 7, at 4:00 p.m.

The world class string quartet, Cuarteto Filarmónico Sonora, comes to us thanks to the generosity of the Sonoran Philharmonic Orchestra and the Consulate General of Mexico in Nogales, Arizona. The quartet will be playing a concert of Baroque music.

Admission to the park is $5.00 per adult, free for federal pass holders and children under age 16. There is no additional charge for theconcert. There is no air conditioning in the open structure and seating is limited;dress appropriately for the day's weather, and come early.
