Visitor Center

The visitor center will be open intermittently starting Friday, May 23. Please check the calendar for dates, hours and tour availability.



Due to the historic nature of the both the Jail at the Tule Lake Segregation and Camp Tulelake, access to these areas are only available with a ranger guided tour.

Summer tours of the Tule Lake Segregation Center include stops at the jail and other areas of significance. Begin at the Tule Lake National Monument Visitor Center.

No tours are currently offered of Camp Tulelake. The original Civilian Conservation Corps Camp buildings can be seen from the entrance gate of the camp.

 

Air Quality

On days when air quality reaches ‘Hazardous”, i.e. over 301 AQI, all non-emergency outdoor activities must stop, and moved to an indoor setting.
