Permits & Reservations


Special uses of National Park Service facilities are allowed by permit only. Contact the park at 334-724-0922 Special Use Application and Special Use Permit forms. A fee may be charged for use of park facilities during and after normal operating hours. Special Use applications are approved at the discretion of the Park Superintendent.

Mail all Special Use forms 4-6 weeks in advance of your requested event to:

  • Groups of 10 or more are asked to call 334/724-0922 at least one to two weeks in advance of their planned tour to make reservations.
  • Schoolgroups must bring one chaperone for every 10 students.
  • Visitors with special needs, please contact the park at least 4 weeks in advance of your visit and indicate the type of need you have.
