Explore the parks in and around the nation's capital by metro! There are plenty of metro accessible parks to visit around Washington, DC, and plenty of activities to enjoy—from camping at Greenbelt Park, to seeing a play at Ford's Theater National Historic Site, to discovering the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site.

Each of the parks identified as metro accessible are 1 mile or less from each metro stop (about a 20 minute walk) or a 10 minute bus ride away. See Washington, DC like a Washingtonian would and jump on the Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow, Silver or Red Line to jump into history, nature and new experiences.
