Fees are collected at the Visitor Center from all visitors 16 and older who are hiking to the Lower or Upper Cliff Dwellings.
Tonto National Monument charges a fee to all visitors hiking to the Lower or Upper Cliff Dwelling. Tour reservations are required to visit the Upper Cliff Dwelling. The Lower Cliff Dwelling is open September through May 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and June through August 8:00 am to noon. Credit and Debit only In-person Purchase Locations
For Organizations & BusinessesEducation groups may be granted an educational fee waiver. All requests and documentation must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the school's planned visit. More information2023 Fee-free DaysNo entrance pass required on these days:
Commercial ToursTour groups are charged the same fees as individuals ($10.00 per person, 16 years of age and older). Individuals may use Interagency Passes. PermitsFor some activities at Tonto National Monument, a Special Use Permit is required. These activities include commercial filming or photography, commercial events, etc. Please follow the link to read more or contact us via phone or email. America The Beautiful: National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes are only available at Tonto National Monument when the Lower Cliff Dwelling Trail is open and fees are being collected. |
