Tonto National Monument Volunteer to Present “Boss Pinkley's Outfit and Southwest National Monuments” at Bullion Plaza Cultural Center and Museum

Roosevelt, AZ - Will Moore, a volunteer at Tonto National Monument and a published author on Southwest history, will tell the story of “Boss” Frank Pinkley at the Bullion Plaza Cultural Center and Museum on January 3, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. as part of the museum's First Friday event series.

At the tender age of 19, Frank Pinkley was put in charge of the Casa Grande archeological site in 1901. Eventually, "Boss" Pinkley was made Superintendent of 27 Southwest National Monuments in four states. Attend this evening of history to learn more about this monumental man.
                                                        
First Friday programs are a collaborative effort of the Gila County Historical Museum in Globe and Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum in Miami. These programs are always free to the public. Donations help offset the cost of bringing these quality programs to the community.
