Roosevelt, AZ – Join Tonto National Monument staff on a 30-minute guided hike on Saturday, January 4, 2020 to learn about biodiversity and post-fire adaptations of the Sonoran Desert. Discover the impacts the Woodbury Fire has had on various plant and animal species of Tonto National Monument, including saguaro cactus, sotol, and migratory birds.

Please meet at the Visitor Center at 2:00 p.m. Closed-toed shoes, sun protection, and water are recommended. Visitors may continue to hike the trail to the Lower Cliff Dwelling after the program. Park entrance fees apply.
