Flamingo is the launching point for water excursions into Everglades National Park. Whitewater Bay and Florida Bay offer abundant wildlife and a chance to visit the parts of the Everglades only accessible by boat.
Back Country Boat Tour
The 90 minute Everglades Backcountry Whitewater Bay Tour ventures up the Buttonwood Canal through Coot Bay and Tarpon Creek into the mouth of Whitewater Bay. Along the way, the naturalist will highlight the unique plant and animal life the Everglades has to offer while outlining the rich history of Flamingo and Everglades National Park. Check Flamingo Everglades' website for times, availability, and pricing.
Florida Bay Boat Tour
This 90-minute tour departs Flamingo Marina and ventures into the expansive Florida Bay. A naturalist will highlight the birds and sea life of the area while providing a history of Flamingo and its surrounding keys. SEA HAWK, the Florida Bay tour vessel, is a double deck catamaran that provides incredible views to guests. While no tours are alike and scenery changes from day to day, possibilities on this trip include ospreys, wading birds, manatees, sea turtles, dolphins, and gorgeous sunsets. Check Flamingo Everglades' website for times, availability, and pricing.
