The African Bahamanian Museum and Research Center (ABAC)researches and documents the Black Seminoles'escape from slavery in southern Florida, USA to freedom in Red Bay, Andros Islands, Bahamas during the early 1800s. The ABAC Museum plan to further the research of the Black Seminoles and their participation in the UGRR as well as develop interpretive programs at historical sites in Red Bay that are associated to their escape from slavery in the United States and final settlement in the Bahamas.
