FY 2014 NATIONAL UNDERGROUND RAILROAD NETWORK TO FREEDOM GRANTS
The National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Program (NTF) is pleased to announce that in collaboration with the Organization of American Historians (OAH),it will be offering grants ranging between $1000 and $10,000. Funds can be used for preservation and restoration of buildings associated with the Underground Railroad (UGRR) and for interpretation and historical research related to Network to Freedom members. Network to Freedom sites, programs, and facilities are eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to those who have not previously received Network to Freedom grants, to those with matching funds, to shovel-ready restoration of buildings, and to signage and interpretation projects.
