Planning and policy are both vital parts of any aviation operation. None more so than in the Department of the Interior and National Park Service. Collaboration at the interagency level on plans and policy provides consistency across agency boundaries to enhance the safety of those carrying out the mission and provides visitors with ease of mind, knowing that agency personnel are carrying out their mission as safely and as efficiently as possible.
