Forward March! - A Battlefield Hike - Learn about geology, the Civil War and Reconstruction as ranger leads an hour long hike through the battlefield including stops at the Slaughter Pen, the site of a post war Freedmen's community, and the fields where the fighting raged during the afternoon of December 31, 1862.

Load, Ready, Fire! - History, math, science, and physical fitness come together as students try their hand at the drill used to load and fire a Civil War cannon. (30 minutes)
