Lady In Blue: Frances Clayton (Clalin)

Although Frances Clayton is one of the most recognizable women who served as soldiers during the Civil War, there is also a great deal we don't know about her. This exhibit will not answer all of the questions we have about Frances, but it does show us how even a popular figure from our past may not be as well known as we think.
