Springfield Armory NHS News ReleaseSpringfield Armory National Historic Site Museum Announces Change In Winter Operating Hours
SPRINGFIELD, MA: From January 12 to March 23, 2025, The Springfield Armory National Historic Site Museum will be open Wednesday-Saturday from 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The museum will be closed Sunday-Tuesday.
Superintendent Kelly Fellner stated that, “The change in hours for the winter will allow staff to accommodate education and community outreach programs for students in Springfield and the surrounding area. For information on education programs and curriculum materials for teachers, please visit Education - Springfield Armory National Historic Site (U.S. National Park Service)Visitors are welcome to walk the park grounds located on the campus of Springfield Technical Community College every day from dawn until dusk. You can explore the Armory history through a series of outdoor wayside exhibits on the grounds or use the NPS App, which can be downloaded for free through the App Store and Google Play.
