Winter Sleigh

While this horse-drawn sleigh conjures romantic rides over snow and ice today, its use in winter on snow-filled roads was once deemed a necessity for the more affluent residents of northern Michigan. This piece is a great example of something that would typically be repaired in the Blacksmith Shop in Glen Haven, where it is currently being stored in the rafters.
