Public Involvement

The NPS has completed the public scoping meetings for the joint Invasive Plant Management Plan/Environmental Assessment (IPMP/EA) for Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and Redwood National Park. There is still time to provide comments! Interested individuals, organizations, and agencies are encouraged to provide comments regarding the scope of issues to be addressed in the IPMP/EA. Please review the information contained in the newsletter that is available on the NPS park planning website (provided below). Additionally, you are invited to comment on the Preliminary Alternatives that have been identified, and provide suggestions for how the NPS should manage invasive plants at the parks.
