Join a ranger at a neighborhood park found within Los Angeles, where nature and the city collide. Students will learn about the adaptations of wildlife living in the urban and wildland interface. Offered virtually Wednesdays through Fridays. Content Focus: Adaptations and Habitats. Our distance learning programs will support the concepts of local habitats and adaptations of animals and plants, exchange of energy flow, and the phenomenon that exist in these settings.

Construct an argument that plants and animals have internal and external structures that function to support survival, growth, behavior, and reproduction. 4-LS1-2.
