Contact: Jonathan Parker, 978-210-4245 SALEM, MA - "Wonderful, excellent, a great park!" are just a few of the phrases visitors have used to describe Salem Maritime National Historic Site, recently featured in the "Best of New England" issue of Yankee Magazine. The 9-acre National Park site also earned a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, the largest travel review site on the internet."This recognition from Yankee Magazine and TripAdvisor is a great way to kick off our summer season," said Superintendent Michael Quijano-West. "These awards are hard-earned and well-deserved by all of the rangers, staff and volunteers throughout the park. It's a privilege for us to greet and serve the hundreds of thousands of visitors who visit Salem Maritime each year." Yankee Magazine featured Salem Maritime National Historic Site along with other maritime attractions in Salem, MA; Mystic, CT; New Bedford, MA; and Bath, ME. The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is awarded to the top ten percent of attractions that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews.
