Pavement Preservation Project in San Juan Island National Historical Park

Work on roadways and National Park Service Parking lots will begin on August 20th 2019 and continue through September 20th. Work includes pavement repairs, micro-surfacing, and restriping. Work will require closures of the English Camp and South Beach parking lots and up to 15 minute delays are to be expected on Cattle point Road between Pickett’s Lane and Eagle Cove Drive. Work will be completed between the hours of 7am to 8pm.  Access to the park will be restricted on the dates listed below. 

Closure of South Beach parking area: August 19th through August 23rd, August 29th through September 6th and September 16th through September 20th 2019. Parking area will be open to traffic on weekends and holidays.

Closure of English Camp parking area: August 19th through August 23rd, August 29th through September 6th and September 16th through September 20th 2019. Parking area will be open to traffic on weekends and holidays.

Delays on Cattle Point Rd between Pickett’s Lane and Eagle Cove Drive: August 29th through September 6th and September 16th through September 20th. Both lanes on Cattle Point Road will be open to traffic on weekends and holidays.
