Did you know that Theodore Roosevelt was President before there was such a thing as a “Presidential Library?” In fact, his fifth cousin Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the first President to have a Presidential Library.

Dickinson State University has developed the Theodore Roosevelt Center, a virtual presidential library featuring collections from around the world, including Sagamore Hill. Visit the Theodore Roosevelt Center to explore highlights from the archival collection at Sagamore Hill.

Visit the Department of Interior’s virtual exhibit “The American Bison: A National Symbol,” to learn more about the American Bison, our national mammal. Sagamore Hill contributed two objects to this exhibit – a map of bison grazing zones, circa 1899, and a bronze Bison by Tiffany.
